Horticulturist Positions (Multiple Vacancies)

Scenic Rim Regional Council is seeking three experienced Horticulturists to join our Parks Team. We are a progressive, equal-opportunity employer dedicated to maintaining the breathtaking scenery and community infrastructure of the Scenic Rim.

Opportunity:

You will support the maintenance of parks, gardens, streetscapes, cemeteries, and Council's nursery.

Locations:

Boonah Depot, Tamborine Mountain Depot (travel between depots may be required).

Requirements:

Essential:

• Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent experience/training).

• General Construction Induction Training (White Card).

• C and MR Class Driver’s License.

• A positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.

Desirable:

• ACDC Commercial Operators License (chemical application).

• Chainsaw operation and maintenance experience.

• Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) ticket.

• Experience with MR trucks, tandem trailers, and ride-on mowers.

Benefits:

• Remuneration: Base salary starting from $61,898.59.
  
• Schedule: 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight.
• Superannuation: Up to 13% employer contribution
